yeah it was a brilliant school- i had friends who went there several years before me and they loved it but it seemed to be sliding downhill a bit by the time i got there 2001-2003. It doesnt suit everyone i think Id enjoy it alot more if i were to go there all over again, I thinked i liked the metalwork more then anything, that and doing duke of edinburgh on the quantocks. I was quite good at the chads hill run though, 21mins something seconds if i remember right!

I know. My pb was 28 something but there was a guy who did it in 16 minutes.

Mr Walker is doing porridge, turns out he was a paedo, hardly suprising though. The school seems to have gone really soft since the LEA started poking their noses about, i dont think spridgens is allowed to hand out his weird and wonderful punishments either now

Spridge retired last year. He gave odd punishments to the end lol

Well we all knew that. what worried me was all the lads in his office playing with lego and stuff- god knows what went on in there:sneaky2:

spridge was a legend but to be honest I kinda felt sorry for the guy, I mean imagine having to live in that little room of his day in day out for 30 odd years- nuts.

I was told he quit by a current pupil but he may be mistaken. What amazes me is that hes getting close to 65 and he still runs chads 3 times a day.

When he does retire he will probably have a replica of chads hill built in Manchester
