Anyone have or recommend a chalet in the Alps?

Couple of years ago we stayed in a private (friend of a friends) chalet, think it slept 14ish. Was in the Chatel area about 1hr from geneva airport next to the resort Abondance and Chatel. Kids had a great time, we had a great time and the resort was good too.

We flew to geneva and rented cars so drove round a few resorts in the area

Want me to see if i can dig details out?

I've driven to Les Arcs for the last two years, bit of a ball ache as the traffic is bad in the foot hills but resort and snow more than make up for it.

This years snowfall is already better than last years so its going to be a good year to go!

We are looking at porte du soleil for easter, seems to be the closest to drive to. (we are flying this year).

Hope you have a good one!

Porte du soleil was the last place I drove to, I remember it being very easy to get to and very pretty as we got to the last couple of hours of the journey round lake geneva. :thumbup1:
