I am looking for a regular supply of hardwood un seasoned and un cut in bulk loads to feed my biomass boiler ASAP so that I can start to chop and season . Would be interested in a load of seasoned as well cut or un cut depending on price .

Many thanks

Hi dave,

I currently have approx 100 tonnes of unseasoned hardwood for sale, mostly sycamore, also have approx 5 tonnes of seasoned birch thinnings.

I have another 100 tonnes or so to fell next month, and are awaiting local authority orders on several jobs so will have another 200 tonnes or so through out the year.

many thanks

john.

Softwood will fuel it perfectly well, just need to re-fuel more often.

I find it makes hardly any difference as my hardwood was so misshapen and short and knarly that I can apparently get the same kg's (& therefore Joules)of softwood in since it is much more straight and regular.

It therefore packs in much more efficiently.

Purely subjectively of course.

cheers

Marcus
