David, when you go to whippy, take a rope and harness for a little prussick up!

go to the grove from whip car park, turn left over the fence, the two biggest ash in the row along the course edge, one road side one green side, beautifull samples, ones is still forming and is the same tree i got the whopping mtr wide job! last year.

going up with a harness tomorow evening myself!

I went for a scout on your behalf, make sure it was worth a look, some tuberaster, about and some dessicated ones here and there much to my suprise as its been so dry of late.

defo worth a visit david, but then she always is, glad you made me go peek a boo!

Also from yesterday, this rack of I. hispidus. Not great close ups, but thought that siting was interesting, in that it's possibly the worst place for an old vet Ash to have decay. Can just see it start to peel off the scaffolds, one by one.

Going to have to reduce lever arms over the canopy on this one.
