stihl 056avs

I`ve got a stihl 056 super electronic quick stop in good order, has anyone on here tweeked one, either a simple exhaust mod or a full porting job?

Was it worth it? I use a 36" bar on it, but not very often ie not often to justify buying a new large saw (do I need to justify buying new shiny things:thumbup:)

Your thoughts and experiences please.

i belive spud has had one in bits

i belive he said it was diffrent to a normal saw best bet pm him

Had one in bits to sort it out, the old saws are generally free breathing on the muffler as they came out before the 104db restrictions - would need to pull the cylinder off to see what could be done to get more out of it!

I`ve got a second one that the coil went on, so got spares to have a play with if I go down that route.
