Have i gone green /recycling letterbox fodder

I,ve noticed iam burning more n more letterbox fodder etc infact anything that burns and my wheelie bin only has one binbag in it thesedays lol as i burn apple core orange peel pizza boxes etc etc is this a good thing or bad for the enviroment as in ink additives in the products i burn as this stuff burns really hot which is nice but frightened at times the fire roars for a few seconds & get worried about the ash etc i,ve checked my chimney and its fine no deposits/ash etc as i was worried i would end up with a house sized roman candle out the chimney so is it :thumbup: or :thumbdown: and are you like me old school burn anythin that burns just to watch the flame on a cold evening as in man n fire cave/ woman/ hunt etc as i love sitting playing with the poker moving the logs about so i can fit another in etc am sounding anal not about maulin with the fire sorry to waffle

As for paper, card, etc, additives like china clay can mean more ash, pound for pound, than logs but other than that no problem. As for banana peel, apple cores, etc, if you compost (and everyone should) they should go there: moisture content is too high to burn efficiently.
