feed rollers

Hi i also have a problem with the feed rollers,ive put a new relay in and the belts are tensioned but there is a periodic patern where it will work fine then work erraticaly then work ok again. i used the pair of wires that bypass the stress control and it seems to work ok like this. any suggestions please?

Hi Karl

 

Have you checked the engine is running at the correct rpm on full throttle, the no stress is programmed to cut the feed rollers in and out at specific rpm thresholds. Should the rpm be reduced slightly due to the air filter being restricted for example, the no stress will be trying to work outside given perameters.

Would be worthwhile calling Timberwolf's technical helpline on 01449 765820with your model and serial number of your chipper, they may be able to give you additional advice to remedy your problem and correct rpm for your machine.
