Stihl ms241 mtronic

New saw put through it's paces today. Had an ms230 which went back under warranty so upgraded to this. Vibrations are far lower than the 230. Cut half as much again on a tank which surprised me as it works very hard. Strange saw as the 230 used to bog down a bit when mid way through a large cut but the 241 just knuckled down and powered on! Almost like a turbo cutting in! Another plus point is how clean the saw stays, no dust at all stuck on the saw or inside it. Seemed to get more power as I used it which I assume is the mtronic resetting itself. Looking forward to seeing how it keeps improving.

Saw still improving! Cut twice the quantity of wood yesterday as my old ms230. I haven't needed to clean it yet as it stays so clean. Dust is blown away from the saw body. Getting more powerfull every time it's used so very impressed so far. Only thing I was wondering is whether it's possible to run a 3/8 chain as I've got some from previous saw.

Used the new saw today to ring up a load of cord. Upto about 16" diameter. Calibrated the saw before using it as it's had 5 tanks through it. I cut enough rings to make up 10 bulk bags on 2 tanks of fuel! The thing is amazing, no bogging pulled hard and didn't let up the whole time. I don't feel like I have used a saw at all whereas the ms230 I had let you know you had! The mrs was happy also as she now has 3 large wheel barrows of saw dust for the stables!
