thank for your input folks, bit the bullet, so pick a 435 up on monday from a dealership, got a price match, they're 18 miles away, but the nearer dealer wouldn't come down in price by 40.00, told them I was going to run it on aspen so they asked me to fetch some in so they can be sure the saw is setup correctly, sounds good to me

Another urban myth, its not the same, compare the spec.

Anyway, buy the 135, its a much better saw than either.

 

Ok it's the same power and engine as a 235 and 600g heavier
