MS361 Stolen, Chester area

A friend of mine had his Stihl MS261 stolen yesterday whilst working in a customers back garden. He was working at a property on the A41 Whitchurch road, passing through Christleton nr Chester.

He was working in the back garden cutting the top of a hedge off tripod ladders. When he came to move the ladders he noticed an ISC 3 way Karibiner with a short chain attached to it lying on the ground nearby. It was not something he recognised and after giving it a good dose of looking at he assumed it must belong to his groundie and carried on cutting. Ten minutes or so later he noticed that his saw which had been sitting at the side of the house within his view had gone.

The police recon the Karibiner was probably thrown by the thieves as a distraction technique whilst they nabbed the saw!:mad1: So be alert folks.

If anyone stumbles across this saw i'm sure he would be pleased to hear from you - Dan 07970128842

It is a Stihl MS361 with a 25" bar (not many around with 25s on) and has a broken piece of plastic on the chain brake handle (the piece of plastic that divides the hole if this makes sense) Around year 09 I think. S/N 170457525.

Probably gone for good but you never know:thumbup1:
