My Grandad is critically ill and hasn't got too long left so I need to travel up north so I can see him. My boss has been very understanding and has let me go, the question is... Is this out of my holiday days left over?? Unpaid leave?? Or count as compassionate leave?? Been reading on the direct gov site about it and can't seem to place where this falls. Thoughts?
