It started slipping. Are there clutch plates I need to replace? Or is it done by magnet strength? It doesn't seem to have as much power in the magnet as before.i can turn it by hand with wheel engaged. Any places in uk for spares?

Thanks

It's electomagnetic. You can dismantle them very carefully and have them relined. They have to be lined by a specialist as the linings are glued on cold to prevent damage to the electronics.

You may find the bearings have contaminated your old linings with grease so you should replace those too. I think a genuine replacement is about £400.
