PTS or UA1/2, any guarantees?

me and my partner in climb are coppering up to pay for either PTS or UA1/2 tickets. Cant afford both so its one or the other for now. Was wondering which would be more beneficial in terms of guaranteeing work, and if anyone had any pointers / direction to go in for work once weve obtained them. cheers fellas.
