5837 protection fencing notices

Hi all, I'm looking to update my template for construction exclusion zones. I have a very basic warning triangle with the standard 'construction exclusion zone - keep out' at the moment.

I'm thinking of including more info along the lines of 'these trees may be protected by T&CP Act, other statutory protection etc. Entering this zone may result in....'

I'm thinking people may take a mild 'threat' more seriously! However, I'm unsure whether simple is better, and more likely to be read in the first place.

Thoughts, suggestions and opinions please.....

That's the principle I currently work on  was just curious as to others opinions as I have seen some which have one half of A4 with the '!' and the other half like a short essay about tree roots and the legal mumbo jumbo of consequences/fines etc.

I was considering a kind of middle ground between the two extremes of simple vs ott...

Also, bear in mind that if they are not specifically protected by a TPO etc, the 'offence' is a pretty minor one (breach of condition, development otherwise than in accordance with submitted plans etc etc).

Maybe Tree Protection Zone - KEEP OUT, as at least 360 drivers and so on will know why (as if a fence round a tree wouldn't make it obvious anyway...).

I suppose even with tpo protection, simply entering the cez won't necessarily fall foul of it...
