Hi I have gearbox failiure on my Honda UM 616 rough mower. Its hydrostatic I can not find any spaers on the internet or ever taken a hydrostatic gearbox to bits. Knowing Honda they will charge a fourtune for a new gearbox. If any one has experince or know where I can source parts for the hydrostatic drive or even know how much a new one is I would be very happy for a reply. Cheers Chris.

Thanks for the advice but on closer inspection the hydro drive works the problem lies in the chain and sprockets a broken chain and small sprocket has missing teeth also the ratchet on the wheel drive spindle has broken. I visited my local dealer and the parts will come to nearly £100. Sounds dear to me but the rest of mower looks pretty good there fantastic mowers for rough long grass and brush there also good on banks so I think its worth doing.
