my transit has decided to spring a fuel leak...through the threads of the bleed valve of the fuel pump....:sneaky2:

Any ideas on how to fix it...or am I looking at a new fuel pump??

Many thanks in hopeful anticipation....:001_rolleyes::001_smile:

It's amazing how the answer has to be coaxed out, surely how do I fix a bleed screw on a transit fuel pump as the thread is knackered in the pump would have been a better question..... A thread sealant could well be your answer

best thing then is to go to an agri engineer get it retapped and put new stud in must have been threaded at an earlier date.

if it was mine id put a bigger stud in and change rubber washer.but fileings off it could block injectors.

someone will help on here im sure:thumbup1:
