Hi Tom, I've had problems trying to do this in the past.

I think this is how to do it - you have to be in the "Forum" tab at the bottom of the page, then choose which category that you want to start the tread in. Once you have done that click the symbol in the top/right of the page (box with arrow coming out), in he dropdown menu there will be an option that i think is call Start Topic.
