Axe throwing results at the Arb Show

Thank you to everyone who supported the axe throwing event at the Arb Show last weekend. This was the first time we have run the fund raiser at this show, and managed to raise a total of £325 for The Childrens Trust which equates to approximately 1200 throws being made over the course of the 2 days.

 

On this occassion we had 3 joint winners all scoring 17 points out of a possible 25, who collected an assortment of prizes which included 1 x oregon axe kindly donated by Oregon and Lister Wilder, 1 Cutting Edge saw and phat strop donated by Cutting Edge, 1 filing kit donated by Forest & Arb, 2 publications donated by the Arb Association, and finally a years subscription to EssentialArb donated by Forestry Journal.

 

We look forward to running the same event again next year, but if you can't wait till then be sure to get yourself down to the Arb & Forestry event in July where we will be holding the same event.
