I know this topic has been covered again again! I apoligise now. :001_smile: but ive searched the site and can't find the answer im looking for.

Basicly ive been using the spiderjack since christmas and can't fault it!! however Im using imori with it and just not getting on with it! it seems reluctant to self tend when theres little wieght on the rope as well as when there is weight! also im having problems with the cam not biting onto the rope, ive checked it's not worn.

am I at fault or is it just the worng type of rope? I loved the imori when using the hitch climber but cant get on with it with the spiderjack?

after seeing a vid of "atree" work climb useing velocity and how well that self tended could this be a better option?

thanks in advance Ollie

Hi ollie velocity is a much better choice of rope imori is very soft like pi and doesn't feed into the jack that great, also you may think your cam isn't worn I thought this until I compared it to a new one.
