Last time we moved some trees- 8ft Native and two 6 ft Rhododendron's we used a 5t digger and tree frames. You just need to do it at the right time of year and plenty of access.

if you end up using a mini digger , you can put the bucket on the wrong way round this way you can get under the root ball and keep a fair bit of soil with it.
