Germinated a load of acorns so now have approxiamately 300 hundred oak seedlings in pots of differing species. Trouble is don't I know what to do with them all.

Some are turkey oaks I think (hairy stems) but its hard to tell, are thoose ones worthless as non native? A fair few also seem to have double trunks for some reason.

There about 4inch tall now in 1 litre pots.

Sell them - listing on ebay..... encourage people to save the planet by planting trees, tell them how good they'll feel about themselves, and charge £10 each. Good bit of pocket money there :)

Good effort on the germination front :thumbup1:

Although not listed under schedule 9 of the WCA, Turkeys are invasive & I wouldn't personally encourage the planting out of them in to the british countryside.

What species are the others that you have?

Donate them to local schools? Not sure how practical that would be though.

Agree about being wary of planting turkey oaks...they can out-compete native oaks physically and genetically.
