A few photos of the big day. I managed a respectable fifth, having completly cocked up the bar and chain change.

Evans the log gets the prize for the worst nightmare: flooding 2 saws in the cross cut section.

Winners:

Novice:Steve Jones

Under 24: Alun morgan

Pro: Dewi Williams

Big thankyou to the judges who did a very good job.

Second that Murray,

Really enjoyed the day ( despite the bad start !! that big puddle nearly had a brand new 372 in it !! ) met a really nice mix of like minded people who welcomed us into there sport , and shared advice and tips with us throughout the day, a very big thank you to all involved for putting on an excellent days sport, cheers .

Congratulations to Stephen Jones on his 1st place in the newcomers , and big thanks for drying my saw out for me whilst I carried on with the cross cutting events , thanks to Phil Dunford for lending me his spare saw to allow me to carry on whilst mine was in rehab !!

Looking forward to catching up with you all again in Wood fest in a few weeks,

Nice to meet up with you Murray , catch up with you again ,

PS do you think we should be saying what a good day we had on here or they'll all want a go !!!! Cheers.
