Just seen there is a woodyard local to me selling at £55 per cube for seasoned hardwood which seems very cheap. I can't compete with that and don't intend on trying to.

 

Witherslack by any chance? If it is I know they stick a big delivery charge on. For the record, they harvest their own woods under grant schemes, with the brash being bundled (by hand by the local naughty boys school) that then feeds the estate wood boiler. A set up that has most if not all angles covered.

Yes that's the one! Not begrudging them, they are obviously a big professional company and been around a lot longer than me and my little set up. If they have a big delivery charge on top then I guess that's not as bad as I first thought as I was starting to worry I was massively overpriced! Thanks for the info.

 

And yeah that's for 1 cubic metre, it says that in their advert.
