Snatching timber down and it hits flying capstan

Andy your right i was told it would be ok to take the blow as they are strong, but since i was training i thought ok this is normal if i had been told it maybe ok i would of defo moved it . I don't want to keep on about this i only started thread to see if happened regularly ( hitting capstan). Also andy your right there is more to this story on day one and two we were training in a poplar that has tpo doing a reduction and i broke a lot of growth points climbing it and when i took top out i didn't get direction right and top smashed down into wrong place smashing more growth points. I think council are not happy about tree now. Any way there's all the story so is my last post on the matter , and just for people who haven't read all the post i do not wish to name instructor or training centre
