I have suffered with carpel tunnel off and on over the past few years comes and goes had physio which seems to help when I remember to do it but I have had it bad the past couple of nights to the point of being sat up in bed waiting for the tingling and pain in my hand/elbow to clear off I feel so tired atm .They said I could have it operated on but I chose not to as it comes and goes ,How long did the op take and how long is the recovery supposed to be?

Hope you recover quickly from it and hope it makes a big difference and hope the next op goes ok on the other arm you will be back to work before you know it .I cant stand it when I lose sleep from it seriously thinking about getting it done as I dont want it affecting my work.

Cheers. op was 15-20 mins i think had glass in my elbow as well though which had to be removed. I'm only 5 days in so far but dr reckons 3-4 weeks before using a chainsaw and 4-5 before climbing but think ill add a week onto both those figures to be safe.

My other hand isn't that bad at all, few nights a month,so hopefully this time off letting it rest and wearing a wrist split will help a lot.

fingers crossed yours gets sorted soon,
