I am thinking of buying one of these, anybody had one, could you tel me how good they are, I know they say a 30cm log is what they will take but will they take bigger, how robust they are and how may cube of loose logs per hour can i expect from it. I dont have a tractor so thats why I am looking at one of these because they have there own engine.

We had one of these. They are a great little tool but 8" is about the max diameter to be honest to work at max speed. On 6-8" you would do 20-30 cube a day if the wood is straight etc. The machine is very well made, tows well and overall I would say worth buying. I have a spare set of new belts and some new bars and chains if you get one and are interested.
