Employers and staff,

Make sure you're wearing appropriate Hi-viz gear when working roadside. I saw a local team hedge-cutting roadside yesterday with none, in failing daylight, on a bad bend during the school run, and heavy traffic. Signing consisted of a men at work either end, a beacon flashing and headlights full on facing oncoming traffic. The dazzle of the lights made it very hard to see the darkly clothed workers on the roadside of the truck. Be carefull this time of year in particular.
