I have just bought a Stihl MS391 with 20"bar.

What would be the best 2 stroke and bar chain oil for it?

Can the oils be purchased online?

What type of file should I get for sharpening the blade?

Thanks for any tips.

There are many good brands of synthetic, or semi synthetic 2 stroke oils on the market.

You need one that meets or exceeds the JASO-FB rating.

The best thing would be to purchase from your local independant specialist dealer as he will only sell you a suitable product.

The chain oil is not as critical, pretty well any proper chin oil will do. They do vary in their viscosity, so you may wish to experiment with different makes.

re the chain oil - i've found putting biodegradable oil through my Stihls results in the mouthwatering scent of a manky old backstreet chippy deep fat fryer when the oil spray hits the muffler! Also, with bio oil it was recommended to turn up the oil flow to compensate for the lack of viscosity/increased oil throw

ahh, I love Tonna !

and if using bio oil get behind the exhaust and clean out your fins every 6months or so i cooked my ms 200 last year and the boss cooked his 260 this year an expensive thing to learn, so unless you have to use bio oil use synthetic chain oil
