Just seen the hype regarding the above film. So I watched it.

 

I have know about the LRA for ages, as well as the many other similar sets of horrible barstewards (it worries me that many people didn't). I also find it ridiculous that people think a "Facebook" campaign will do any bloody good when he has been doing it since the 80's!

I personally don't understand why they are doing something about it now, why is 2012 the year to change things? It should have all stopped back in the 80's!!

Yet again a bunch of idealists think they can have someone executed by creating a global internet campaign.

I'm pretty sure that when the same concept is turned against us we don't very much care for it.... Back to that old debate of what gives us the right to prescribe how other nations deal with their own problems. Once more, the civilised west thinks it has all the answers.

Leave them alone for heaven's sake, we ain't perfect by any means! When they want our help, they ask!

I disapprove of this whole thing on many, many levels, but I've discussed it enough today already, I've had enough of it!

Saw this on facebook. I the whole idea of people power driving government policies is great. Guys like this literally het away with murder as long as they are not sitting on resources we can exploit.

 

People do ask for help everyday, but if they don't have worth we don't help.
