Obtaining free wood chippings?

Do you still have chippings available? I'm not that far from St Helens (Cadishead) and need lots of chippings for my allotment / smallholding I have just rented. I have no paths or parking areas at the moment, just lots of mud so could take as much or as little as you can let me have! I can collect in a transit with or without a trailer attached.

If you want free chips you might be better giving out your address to a local tree surgeon who would drop off the chips when on a nearby job. Saving him/her travel. You may need to wait but probably it will happen.

We get asked- but they want to know dates and times etc and just can become a hassle. The customer who just offers a tip site whenever you need it is usually always at the top of the queue. Especially if they greet you with a cheery smile and a cup of tea:001_smile:
