How has the price gone up to £1200?

Price of mild steel alone has gone from £450 per tonne to over £1000 a tonne in less than a year. Also the vast worldwide increase in mining has made commodoties like Tungsten carbide very expensive.

We cut the disks ourselves, and have a OEM account with sandvic mining - and I couldent buy it that cheap...

HEY Liston have standard Dura disk complete wheels for a Vermeer 252 for £975 x vat .

Don't get confused with the Dura disk 2 as this has more teeth then a standard dura disc.

Have a word with the Liston Parts guy Alan, he is very helpful with regards grinder wheels.

I hired a Carlton 4012 from Prochip which had 300 hrs on the clock two thirds of the teeth were original from new. You don't get that from vermeer super teeth nor rayco supper teeth.

That Sandvik wheel cutters deeper then any tooth i've used before.

Anybody got some info on where I can buy Vermeer pro teeth style cutters at a reasonable price? I'm sure I remember an ad in a arb mag advertising them for about £4 but it was a couple of years ago.

Hello Mesterh, Stumbled on your question about obtaining Vermeer Pro teeth. I used to sell the a non genuine pro teeth for the vermeer. I sold them on ebay for £4.40 each and free postage (within limits). Maybe this is where you saw them. I have moved on to the Vermeer Yellow Jacket teeth which came fitted to my new sc352.
