interesting method milling with the mini mill

Good find Chris. I've started thinking more about quarter sawing.... today was planing some big oak boards and it was killing me moving them around and as they had distorted (but not much) half of it ended up as sawdust.

 

Ref the mini mill I'm not sure I agree with him on that as I find it not as accurate as the horizontal mills and also harder work. And it is def not as accurate on big logs - that said really 25" bar should be the max you use. With a longer bar the flex causes the tip to wander.
