A mate of mine has an old Jonsered 111s

Unfortunately we think it needs a new piston

Does anyone know if parts are available for these? Methinks not but there's a rumour that parts from an old Husky would fit....

Help please..

PM Magnus on CSC post above. He runs that site.

I do know a sachs dolmar 166 piston has been run in a 111 hotsaw. I dont know of a husky one.

Just some eye candy to make you want to get the old girl going again.

If you pull the piston out, post the gudgeon/wrist pin diameter, piston diameter, piston height and top of the wrist/gudgeon pin to piston top edge dim as well as noting if the piston is domed or not.

Once I have this info, I can do a few checks!

I'm working through emails trying to get you the oem 111 piston specs from one of the new kits.

If OP would post some pics of his P + C might be able to tell if can be cleaned up and re-ring it

I'm betting it nust have a big pin. The 166 had a big pin. I know a guy that drilled a 394 piston to work in a 166.

Let you know spudulike when and if specs get emailed back to me.
