Ceanothus for turning

I got a piece of ceanothus from a job yesterday approx 3'x8'' tapering to 5". It's got quite a few burr growths on it. Does anyone know if it's any good for turning? Does anyone want it?

I don't know, but give it a go, or give some to some one else to have a go, then let us know. :-)

I turned some Laurel and was pleasantly surprised - very dense, green yellow coloured, had the feel of some sort of tropical wood.
