Your hydraulic motor circuit has 2 elements, pressure and flow.

Pressure can be equated to strength, the more pressure you have the stronger the motor will pull.

Flow can be equated to speed, the better the flow the faster the motor will turn (within limits)

It would seem that you have a flow problem, this could be the pump not getting enough oil caused either by low levels or a blocked pick up filter. Check the flexible pipe that leads to the pump from the reservoir, watch it under use to make sure that it isn’t collapsing and restricting flow.

Check the control valve and any linkages, disconnect the linkage from the valve or control arm and work the valve through its movement KEEP AWAW FROM THE ROLLERS WHILE PERFORMING THIS TEST. If the rollers work better with the linkage disconnected the linkage may need adjusting.

That’s just going to make un unnecessary mess.

Hydraulic runs Waaaay higher pressure than air, if the hydraulic flow wont shift a problem air has no chance whatsoever.

Yes agreed, but if there is a blockage its still in there somewhere, or its dispersed into small bits, worth checking the oil for iron fillings,
