Thats it!! It has to be done! The back of the landy has to be boarded out, coz there is no order at the moment and the carpet has been trashed now as the fuel can fell over on the way home the other day and kindly leaked oil everywhere:sneaky2: Anybody boarded theirs out before with success ? Its the station wagon style Landy and i have got the side seats out But left the frame in to hopefully attach the board to. Was thinking of doing a split level thing ie saws on the bottom ,Climbing stuff on the top and some kinda tray to sit the fuel and oil on .I want it to be the ultimate storage system to house all the kit!! ( oh and kids stuff at weekends when it returns to its part time job as the family vehicle) Anyone got any good ideas/ pics?:confused1:

Just about to do my 110 Hardtop too, same experience in the back, everything falling over and a right mess. Its taking me ages to think of what to do though!

Firstly i'm going to lay down some good thick carpet underlay and thin foil insulation to keep some noise down and provide a bit of comfort when sleeping in the back. Then going to board out with about 15mm ply but not sure on weather to stain or paint it :/ Going to put some angle iron on all the edges to protect them and put in lots of lashing points (put them in where you are going to bolt the boards down, better than screwing boards to floor), Going to go with a split level system too and make it removable. Anyone any ideas on best way to access things stored underneath from inside the back cab? Was thinking about making some wooden fitted boxes but prob going to go for sturdy removable wood/plastic/metal boxes and attach them in with bungees (love them). All this typing is making me think about some cargo net or roof system now too! lol.

Would love to see pics of what others have done.
