Funny. They are brilliant round here; 'phone them up to lower approx 200m whilst laurel bashing and then raise back up a week later. BT chaps were so chuffed that we helped clear back some other growth that they made us tea and biccys from their van!

 

No charge, and bt supe came out to see what we needed and was totally agreeable...

 

And I'm only a few miles from you Paul...

 

who did u contact ?? or who is the best person to contact, its in the south hams area

For a small job like the conifers you're describing, just work round them. For big jobs incorporate BT's charges into your quote or just cut the line and call them out, having incorporated that charge into your quote.

 

yeah was dealing with western power first there all happy, no charge just thinking what is easier, the client wants me to do it, so waiting for all the facts befor the quote is then given
