Arb supplies in Dorset??

Just wondering if there is anywhere around Dorchester that I might be able to get a throw line kit from, I'm on my CS38/39 and having a bit of a shocker getting my rope in the tree so need some extra practice over the weekend.

Any tips also gratefully received

christchurch powertools is the only supplier I know really helpful members of staff.

If your struggling to find somewhere and just need to practice on the weekend, you could get some kite cord from one of the watersports shops in Weymouth and a fishing weight.

 

I'm crap with a throw line so can't offer you any tips!! A big-shot catapult is on my list of things to buy!

a little short of decent kit suppliers down this way.... i use the net or wait and create a big shopping list for the various arb shows!

cheers dave, i'm probably going to go grab one tomorrow as i want to take it back up to kingswood next week to keep practicing, its the only bit so far that is letting me down and i wont be much use on my assesment if i cant fix the problem. Would be good if i could come and have a chat once i'm done up there though. i did try and get back to you a few months back but kept getting your awnser phone.
