I,m on refurbing a old LV Star 3 point linkage mounted timber crane, Question where do you park the crane when driving the tractor? do you put it over the roof and use the grab to hold on to frame on the nose of the tractor? the frame and bar i don,t have but could make.:thumbup:

We had one years ago and that's what we did but you have to be carefully there's a lot of movement in the linkages and can sometimes flop forward and hit the cab when you swing round but we done well with ours was quite good then

I,ve got the trailer the crane attaches to, just thought it maybe handy at times to attach it to the 3 point linkage, then it could feed a delimber. Anyone got a delimber for sale? probley make a cage for the cab, with a rest for the arm on top of the cab and a frame on the nose for the grab to hold on to. Anyone got an old cage i could use as a starting point?
