hi guys found this online but is very limited on how to do this technique

He's using a lanyard with a carabina on both ends and a device that holds both ways. a rope grab or distel knot grabs one way only and can use one hand to pill the slack in, this system it appears you need both hands

 

a simple version would be a lanyard with a carabina on both ends and a normal prussik

 

or just use your climbing line for the change over

No need to buy anything expensive to replicate this system - like Josharb says, a karabiner each end and a prussik loop would do the same job.... BUT... why wouldn't you have your climbing rope with you to use in a change-over situation, even if you were spiking/flipline climbing? That would be a much safer system and gives you more options without buying more kit you don't need.
