Hi,

Every now and then my 150 DHB switches itself off in mid chip.

Fuel tank is always full and the beast regularly cleaned and serviced.

I think the vibrations my simply shake the key to the stop position?

Any thoughts?

Many thanks.

Larry.

Hi Larry

Have has several customers report this effect

Have found 2 possible causes,

The first is that the key for the machine is attached to a bunch of other keys and the weight of the bunch has caused the key to turn and stop the engine. The second is a slightly worn ignition switch which combined with the weight of keys has emphasised the situation.

A further cause could be the start of the breakdown of the fuel solenoid valve but this would be unusual.

Hope this points you in the right direction.

regards
