I've been offered utility work in Ireland

Hello everyone, details are vague at the mo but I've been offered some utility work over in northern Ireland and I just wondered if anyone on here has had any experiences they'd like to share about subbing over there.

There is loads of subbys at it, but it's all for the NIE but there changing or changed there name to something like power systems or something.

Power NI.

I was talking to a few of their climbers a few weeks ago.

They were standing beside a new Defender-mounted mewp (£46,000)!

Seemingly there's plenty of contact work going - must be money somewhere.

They're also changing from Stihl to Hus ..... you know - the other one.

That's it, yes the money is coming from the bill payers as the average bill is 25% more expensive than the mainland.

Plus it is state funded so in a way your paying twice.

As you say there's plenty of work you see them everywhere.

Dont know yet just got asked if I fancied it first, I have asked for more details but had none yet.

Sounds like there's plenty of work though so depending on the details it could be a good opportunity/experience.
