Well - what happened to it then, we all like a happy ending:thumbup:

changed the tank,got the carb u/s cleaned, put new needle and metering lever in,pulled it over 3 times ,fired,2 more pulls and off she went like a goodun,set the carb up, cut 3 ash rings, then it stopped and wouldnt start,left it over night ,tried to start,back to old problem,its now on ebay,proceeds are going to a new 372xp

Thats a shame - probably end up stripped for bits - always seems a waste to me.

 

Perhaps someone has buggered the needle seat!

nor me,i suppose i could of got a new carb £115.00 , but couldnt justify spending that much on it,the saw is 20 years old so not to bothered, thanks again for all the help
