i launch and recover Hot air balloons and this morning i got to the barn where we keep the balloon to find the Fire Brigade out side. the whole lot was burnt out, 2 land rovers and trailers the big basket and balloon envelope all burnt to the ground, hay and straw stored in barn is still burning ever now. totally gutted for the boss. gas cylinders blown to bits, what a mess. i have been crewing that balloon for nearly 3 years and i feel like i have lost a good friend.

Really sorry to hear the news, any idea how this happen?, was the owner insured?, I hope.

Once the owner get's back on his feet I believe you will get back to job you really like.
