The best Nptc I have taken is Winblow, CS34. Of course it depends on the individual instructor as to what you take from a course- have has some awful instructors! Felling and climbing have obvious danger, but with winblows the danger may not be as apparent.

nutty

the instructors arent from nptc, usually lantra, however not employed directly they are independant external people that have undergone & met training schedule & standards, although many assessors also train but work for the two different bodies !!!

they will all have different styles of instruction, but the course content should be the same.

Over the years I've noticed blokes not collect their blue book [before id card ] from employers, when they leave them, can employees get new copy's of their blue book/id card from NPTC?

The blue book, certificates, etc, are the property of the person named on them, not the employer. When you leave the employment of a company, they should be handed to you. Some companies have a stipulation that if you leave within so long of taking the courses, then you should re-imburse the company for the expense of the courses. Some companies try to hang on to the paperwork, sowhen they go for contracts they can show a fully qualified team!! Basically a "ghost" crew. B4 the AA,ISA, RFS get so high and mighty about other issues, I think this is something that must be jumped on, hard!!
