Firewood tips and tricks....

Anyone willing to share there firewood tricks and tips, just the little things you do to make the job that little bit easier and more efficient?

 

Got a feeling we could all learn something here :)

 

I liked the one a few weeks back about putting a tyre around your splitting log :)

 

I live opposite a pub, most weekends its rammed so i make sure the truck is outside the house with a full load on. also if im going into town for a few hours, will try to have a load on then also. surprising the amount of calls i've had from people seeing the truck and taking number down.

 

Some one told me to spread the saw dust heaps around the yard, really helps to keep ya feet that little bit warmer.

 

Basic stuff i no but be good to see what others contribute
