Cars always seem to brake down when you have least amount of money.:sneaky2:

It's slowly loosing coolant and interior's wet..Looks like evil heater matrix or pipe maybe to me (the guy in a garage told me to 'wait till it gets worse' as he couldn't locate the leak :001_huh:).

Anyway, have any of you ever used K-Seal and what do you think? Rad Weld did no good (used twice).

:001_smile:

What vehicle is it in? I'd go and ask on the relevant owners forum, as the wealth of knowledge of the people combined often surpasses that of the garage by a lot. They may well be able to help you diagnose the excact place/cause of the leak.

K-seal can block your heater matrix, as well as other small coolant channels causing poor heater performance and potential engine overheating.

It may also fix your problem temporarily, but it would never be a reliable permanent fix so you'd still need to fix the actual problem so I'd just try and do that.

I have used k seal before it is good in the short term, cargo seal up is good as well but you have to ensure that you flush the system really well because it reacts with antifreeze and gloggs up. K-seal costs about £10 and will do the job on the matrix but not sure about hose. Hope this helps.
