Petzl Pantin keeps coming loose

I see deer man got you now. Ill try that.

 

If that doesn't work Ill restictch it DrewB!

 

I guess nobody else has this problem so it must just be me. I will have to take a closer look at why it is happening and try to work out what I am doing wrong.

I've started "tucking the strap under the other strap"

 

I think this has been mentioned above.

I thought about stitching but then I couldn't adjust between my chainsaw boots and non-protective boots I use for pruning etc

The spring is designed loose, it helps the rope run through when only a little weight to play with below.

Like deerman say's pass the strap upwards against the back of the cam body and lock it tight with the horizontal strap. Using this method you will be able to extend for spikes and pull it back shorter for boots.

I dont know why petzl would let such an obvious flaw pass through unchanged, but it's such a simple fix that we can't complain too much!
