Morning Gents,

 

Our friends over on UKTC have had this debate recently and one of their members posted these spreadsheets. I sure he wont mind them being re-posted?

 

One based on calculating multistems using the basal diameter and a

multiplier of 10 and the other deriving a notional equivalent

single-stem diameter by using the sum of the cross-sectional areas.
