I haven't ever paid for a map for a tree application.

I either print something off the LA website if they have an interactive map, use the Surrey CC interactive map for Surrey (obviously!) and it also goes as far as SW london, or do a freehand drawing and scan it onto the computer.

 

Never had an application returned yet, and I do all my applications through the planning portal, so no need to post multiple copies of maps etc
